Privacy Policy — Vingler

1. Who we are

Vingler is an AI-powered podcast generation service operated by IntelStacks (vingler.intelstacks.com). When this policy refers to "Vingler", "we", "us" or "our", it means IntelStacks. For questions about this policy, contact us at support@intelstacks.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following when you use Vingler:

Account information — name and email address when you sign up.
Content you submit — text, files (PDF, DOCX, TXT), or URLs you provide to generate podcasts.
Usage data — which features you use, podcast length, language selected, and generation timestamps.
Payment data — processed entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number or UPI credentials.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, and approximate location (city/country) for security and rate limiting.

3. How we use your information

To generate your podcast and deliver the audio file.
To manage your account, credits, and billing.
To send transactional emails (password reset, credit reset notifications).
To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and bot signups.
To monitor service health and fix errors (via Sentry error tracking).

We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not serve advertisements.

4. How we store your data

Account data — stored in a SQLite database on our Oracle Cloud server (Mumbai region).
Generated audio — uploaded to Dropbox and accessible via a private link. Audio files are not publicly indexed.
Uploaded files — processed in memory and deleted immediately after podcast generation.
Custom background music (Power plan) — stored on our server and automatically deleted after 30 days.

5. Third-party services

Vingler uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Google Gemini API — generates podcast scripts from your content.
Google Cloud TTS — generates voice audio (Creator/Power plans).
Microsoft Edge TTS — generates voice audio (Free/Hobbyist plans).
Dropbox — stores generated audio files.
Razorpay — processes payments. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
SendGrid — sends transactional emails.
Sentry — error monitoring. Error reports may contain anonymised request data.

6. Cookies

Vingler uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. No third-party cookies are set by Vingler.

7. Data retention

Account data — retained until you delete your account.
Activity logs — retained for 90 days for security purposes.
Generated audio — retained on Dropbox until you delete it or your account is closed.
Custom music uploads — deleted automatically after 30 days.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Export your podcast history.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@intelstacks.com. We will respond within 7 business days.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data — including bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS-only access, CSRF protection, rate limiting, and server-side input validation. No system is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to support@intelstacks.com.

10. Children

Vingler is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Vingler after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
